Help CenterThe map is an easy and visual way to search through the marketplace. To go to the map, click on the pin icon in the bottom navigation. If you have ever used a map app, you'll get it. Pinch to zoom, use a finger to pan.
Types of map pins
There are a few different map pins, but we tried to keep things very simple.
Search by address
The quickest and easiest way to find an address on the map is to use the search bar at the top of the map. Type in the address of your site, and you can view any listings or facilities that are nearby.
Using filters
These are two ways to filter on the map to find exactly what you are looking for.
Material type filter
By clicking on the Material type button, you can select specific materials to display like:
- Clean fill (Engineerable)
- Clean fill (Non-Engineerable)
- Contaminated fill
- Concrete
- Recycled concrete
- Liquid fill
- Topsoil
- Asphalt
- Recycled asphalt
- Limestone
- Sand & Gravel
- Granite
- Salt
- Garbage waste
- Scrap metal
- Landscape stone
- Coloured aggregate
- Mulch
- Sod
- Loam
- Shale
- Snow (NEW)
Listing type filter
You can also filter by 4 types of listings:
Import listings: these are contractor listings that need to bring in a specific type of material to their site, and are looking for someone to find this material from
Export listings: these are contractor listings that are looking to get rid of a specific type of material from their site, and are looking for someone to take this material
Disposal facility: This is a fixed business location that will dispose of specific materials
Supplier facility: This is a fixed business location that will supply specific materials to you
